Dalmas Affair
The Dalmas Affair
PART THREE
Shoot Out At Trent's Block
Having been told by Carol Pride that a gangster awaited them downstairs the PCs quickly hatch a plan.

Two of them would take the lift while two other would go down the stairs.

As the mobster was at reception they knew where to attack.

The two leading investigators, Irma and Donelley came down the stairs quietly and then threw a grenade (without having pulled the pin) over the desk.

This forced the mobster to dive over the desk away from the expected explosion. Good plan Irma.

He was then in the entrance hall and was shot at from the stairs and then the lift.

However it's not Mike Hartson indicating that he is still around somewhere.

The investigators find him in a storeroom and after a brief fire fight he is overcome but not killed.

With all the gunfire Trent quickly does some crowd control on the startled residents and tells them to go back inside and call the police.

Leaving The Scene
Everyone then leaves with Carol Pride and the gangster Mike Hartson, leaving the other dead gangster, Alex Gorman to the police.

They hole up back at Trent's warehouse.

From the drugstore near the warehouse they call Fuentes and Lou Lid.

They also make a call to "Stilts", the Chicago mobster pretending to be a fed.

They advise him that "eyes" had a mishap but can be found in the storeroom.

Coming back a big limo pulls up. Its Donnelley's mob contacts, they want to take him to meet with the Boss Seamus O'Flanerhy.

Donnelley taking Irma and Trent with him, goes with them, as you can't refuse those kind of requests.

O'Flanerhy explains that he didn't set up Donnelley to be killed outside Flanagan's sandwich bar.

They conclude that Magoon must have a man in their organisation and they think it has to be Geogeoghan, As it was he who requested specifically that Donelley protect the sandwich bar.

They agree to clean up their organisation and remain on call if the investigators need a hand moving in on Magoon.

Magoon's Set-Up
Going back to the warehouse Gaidar's scare tactics persuade Mike Hartson to tell all.

He explains that Magoon is an enormous man and gives a description and location of Magoon's speakeasy.

This is confirmed as the correct number from the photos developed from Carol's camera.

Soukesian is not only the finger man who points out which of his rich clients Magoon can rob.

He is also some kind of advisor and consults tarot; referring to Magoon as the Hierophant.

The real on is a French gentleman Yves Barbeau who is so good people don't even notice they have been robbed.

Unfortunately he was spotted by Magoon's men stealing Magoon's watch and was forced to join Magoon's gang.

Magoon is also expecting a big shipment of booze very soon and will have to pay with the counterfeits he stole from Chicago.

Making Plans
Send Hartson to hospital - tell Lou and Fuentes which one in case they want to beat him up.

Carol to call Willy Magoon that the hit failed and both gangsters are dead.

She wants her stuff and wants to come over to the apartment on Park Avenue and get.

(This is where Hartson believes Magoon is holding Violet's M'Gee the New York homicide detective).

Investigators have been to city hall and now have a full blueprint of the entire apartment.

Irma calls Stilts and gets the Chicago mob to go to Willy's speakeasy.

So now it's all set though I'm not sure if the plan is for the investigators to go the apartment at park Ave or to go to Magoon's speakeasy.
