On this day our voyage began, not just our voyage to Easter island and onto the City of R’Lyeh, but the voyage into the world of being beyond our understanding. The things we will see may drive us all mad and the only go thing we have going for us is that we will be operating on Ships and Islands and both are small enough that none of us will stay too far.

The voyage on the Tramp Steamer, the S. S. Semiramis, passed with nothing of note and the captain and crew kept themselves to themselves. We took the time to teach each other spells and practiced with the Lewis gun and M1919 Browning .30 Caliber Machine Gun.
