Journal 01 Banner

We had sighted Easter Island early this evening and preparations began. Our initial plan was to circumnavigate the Island so we could search for the 2 vessels used by Carl Stanford and his Witches, Wizards, acolytes and soldiers. We saw no other ships either docked in the harbour, Hangaroa, or anchored in open sea.

The Tramp Steamer - S. S. Semiramis

We had decided to anchor off the NORTH-EAST tip of the Island and land the launch the following day at first light. This would afford us light and some small element of surprise, we hoped it would anyway.

After traveling around Easter Island it clearly offered us no cover and are movements would be hard to hide. Night manoeuvres appeared are best bet but that would be the time all the monsters would also be moving around.

Final Equipment Check

However, this will also be to our benefit and we should also be able to track and follow any possible leads.

We had made it to Easter Island and were not attacked by anything and for this we should be truly grateful. I hate to think what we will be facing over the course of the next few days. I was so glad to have a B.A.R again and this, not magic, will be the only thing between me and everlasting damnation.
