ST NIKLAAS CHURCH
Father Sigismund
Priest at St Niklaas Church in New Amsterdam in 1680s. He received the chest from Captain Marijner and subsequently bankrupted the church while acquiring Byzantine artifacts. He was later excommunicated and exiled to Surinam where he was put to death for heresy following the death of his female lover in early 1700s.
Father Van Der Linde
Senior priest in residence at St Niklaas church New York in 1924. He seams not to be involved in this mystery. He allowed us entry into the Church and we have found several bits of information and plans for the St Niklaas Church itself too. The object or Entity we are searching for was buried here over 300 years ago.
Seamus O’Malley
Subway foreman who hired and formed the crew killed in the subway explosion beneath St Niklaas church. He was not present at the explosion but has told us how we can find Vitaly Grishkin, A.K.A Aleksandr Nevsky.
Deceased From Wall Street Subway Station
Dan Brown, Brendan o’Shaughnessy, Frano Chiociolli, Giuseppe Blanco and Hector Rodrigues. A sixth member, Aleksandr Nevsky (aka Vitaly Grishkin) is missing, was presumed killed but nobody has yet been found in the subway tunnel.

Paul Marijner
Resident of Newburyport. Lives with younger sister Lucy. At Princeton College a few years after Trent. Achieved best in state exam results and earned a scholarship to Princeton. Brilliant academic. Great War veteran. Scarred and has completely white hair. Suffers from shell shock. Descendant of Captain Marijner. Seventh son of a seventh son.
Lucy Marijner
19 year old younger sister of Paul. Has Polio and walks with a strap-On and is currently living in Newburyport. She was in danger and so we have brought her to New York with us. She appears not to be involved and the enemy only want her as a bargaining chip over Paul Marijner. Descendant of Captain Marijner.

Private Secretary of John Pierpont Morgan Jnr. Based at Metropolitan club. His name has been used by the Russians to hire motorcycles and Cars. We need to talk to him on his own.

Aleksandr Nevsky
Savior of 12th Century Russia. Nevsky Propekt in central Moscow is named after him. Assumed name of Vitaly Grishkin. First name is Russian version of Alexander.
Vitaly Grishkin
Theological and spiritual advisor to Petrograd Soviet. Adherent of Rasputin. Led Comintern expedition to New York to locate contents of under crypt below St Niklaas church. Joined tunneling crew in NYC subway. Strangely persuasive and able to inspire respect and following. Missing after tunnel explosion. Used assumed name of Aleksandr Nevsky to do this. Said to be ex-lover of Natalia.
Dmitri Ulyanov
Comintern agent allied to missing yacht at Long Island and Vitaly Grishkin (Aleksandr Nevsky) chased Joseph on a motorbike but lost him in traffic. Captured in Newburyport at Mr Starman’s house by the Investigators.
Sacha
2nd Comintern agent. Was observing at Wall Street when explosion occurred. Stayed in New York while his comrade, Dmitri Ulyanov, went to keep tabs on Lucy Marijner. We have him locked up in the warehouse with Gaidar.
Natalia
“Bumped” into Joseph Donelly when he was in pursuit of Sacha. Said to be an ex-lover of Grishkin (aka Nevsky) but not a member of the Comintern group. Was watching Paul Marijner’s tenement in disguise.
